Privacy Policy

At ForexInspector (the "Site", operated by its owner, "we") we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, on what legal basis, what we use it for, who we share it with and what rights you have. By using the Site, you accept what is described here.
1. Data controller
The controller of your data is the owner of ForexInspector. For any question or to exercise your rights, write to us at info@forexinspector.com.
2. What data we collect
- When you register: your email and, optionally, a display name.
- When you comment: the text of your comment, the rating and the date.
- If you are a broker administrator: the official-domain work email you use to verify your link to the broker.
- Basic technical data: what's needed for the Site to work (for example, your session).
We do not request or store financial data, payment methods or information about your trading accounts.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the following legal bases: the performance of the service you request (creating your account, publishing your comments); our legitimate interest in moderating content, preventing fraud and keeping the Site secure; and your consent where applicable. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. What we use your data for
- Authenticate you and maintain your account.
- Publish and moderate your comments and ratings.
- Send you the account verification email and notices related to your use of the Site.
- Prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use a session cookie (fi_session) to keep you signed in; it is functional and necessary, and lasts while you use your account. We store in your browser (localStorage) the country you choose in the selector, to show you the regulatory information for your region. We do not use tracking or third-party advertising cookies.
6. Who we share your data with and providers
We do not sell or rent your data. It is processed only by the services needed to operate the Site:
- Email delivery: from our own mail server (info@forexinspector.com).
- AI moderation: the text of comments is sent to an external artificial-intelligence provider (currently Groq) that automatically classifies it (approve, review or reject) before it is published. This provider processes the text under its own policies; we do not send it your email or other identifying data along with the comment.
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first tool that measures aggregate traffic. It is cookieless, does not use fingerprinting and does not track individual users.
We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
7. International transfers
Our servers and some providers may be located outside your country. By using the Site, you understand that your data may be processed in other jurisdictions, applying reasonable protection measures.
8. Data retention
We keep your data while you maintain an active account and for as long as necessary to meet legal purposes. If you request deletion, we delete your account and associated personal data (comments already published may be anonymized or removed as appropriate).
9. Your rights
You may exercise, under applicable law (including the GDPR if you are in the European Union), the rights of: access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, restriction of processing and withdrawal of consent. You can also edit your display name from your dashboard and request deletion of your account. To exercise them, write to us at info@forexinspector.com. If you believe we did not address your request, you have the right to complain to your country's supervisory authority.
10. Security
Passwords are stored hashed (never in plain text) and we apply reasonable measures to protect your data. Even so, no system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Minors
The Site is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we detect a minor's data, we will delete it.
